The Western Reserve Historical Society presents a program on the Cleveland's Air Races. Cleveland hosted the National Air Races from 1929-49, an extraordinary spectacle meant to showcase new developments in aviation technology. In this program, hear stories of the different races that occurred, the bold and brave pilots who performed death-defying stunts, and the benefits for the city of Cleveland and its new municipal airport.
