Lorain County residents age 55 and over, join the Lorain County Metroparks for a FREE bus trip to the Miller Nature Preserve, a unique hidden gem with 145 acres of woodlands in the heart of Avon, Ohio. The star of this park is the 5,000 square foot conservatory featuring plant specimens from all over the world. Tram services are available on the site during the visit, weather permitting. Following the tour, participants will gather in the Metropark's Orchid Cafe for a free boxed lunch (your choice from a list of options). Lorain County Metroparks bus pickup and dropoff for this program will occur at Grafton-Midview Public Library, 983 Main St. Space is limited. Patrons may only register for one of the tours.
