Lorain County residents age 55 and over, join the Lorain County Metroparks for a FREE bus trip to the Sandy Ridge Reservation in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Sandy Ridge Reservation is one of the county’s birding hotspots situated on a
migratory bird route. This park includes a 526-acre wetland and wildlife preserve. Visitors can elect to do a
self-guided hike on a 0.7-mile loop trail and tram services are available on the site during the visit, weather permitting. Following the tour, participants will gather in the Metropark's Miller Nature Preserve Orchid Cafe for a free boxed lunch (your choice from a list of options). Lorain County Metroparks bus pickup and dropoff for this program will occur at Grafton-Midview Public Library, 983 Main St. Space is limited. Patrons may only register for one of the tours.
