Library Branch
As part of GMPL’s dedication to serve the community and support its mission, the Grafton-Midview Public Library makes use of the Community Room for meetings and Library programs of an educational, informational and recreational nature. This space is available to non-profit community groups, agencies and organizations when not needed for Library or Library-related activities. Groups using the meeting rooms must not interfere with or disrupt the programs, activities and normal operations of the Library, or cause a security risk or safety hazard to Library staff, property or patrons. Groups may use the meeting rooms free of charge for private meetings or for the general public. The meeting or program scheduled must be held free of charge, and without the intent of generating revenue.
Reservations are currently available up to 2 months in advance.
General room setup and breakdown is the responsibility of the group or individual reserving the Community Room. Staff assistance is required for audio equipment.
Equipment
Includes a ceiling-mounted projector and wall-mounted television which can be connected to a laptop (HDMI cable available upon request). Podium, pointer, and audio equipment for presentations. Staff assistance is required to access audio equipment.
Seating
Maximum number of tables for classroom setup is 6. Tables are rectangular (30"x72") and can seat up to 3 chairs on each side. 40 chairs available for general use.
